From the south side of Edison, New Jersey, bumping the obscurest hip-hop, weighing in at 155 pounds, in the left booth, Rumeer Keshwani is a DJ for the Babson College Radio. I like conscious rap but you're just as likely to see me bumping trap music on the daily. I am trying to diversify my bonds and experiment with more genres of music but Hip Hop will forever be in my heart and my soul. When I'm not bumping, I am watching Netflix; three of my favorite shows are Master of None, Black Mirror, and Bojack Horseman. I like to consider myself a relatively thoughtful and open-minded person, with high-hopes for myself in the world of Finance post Babson.
Born in Australia, raised in San Diego, studying in Massachusetts. I love listening to all kinds of music, but if I had to choose one artist it’d be Chance the Rapper. His production and verses are out of this world. I’m a fan of anything upbeat and happy go lucky. My show will include remixes, hip-hop, rap, and Edm. Stay Tuned.
My name is Jason Trefry and I am a First-Year from Danvers, Mass. I listen to mainly hip-hop and indie rock, and my favorite band is Vampire Weekend, as should be everyone's. I'm open to all kinds of music, and with my counterpart Dante Bria, we will bring a wide variety of sounds to your ears on our show Pangaea; Saturday nights from 5:00-7:00pm.
Argentinian born and Dallas raised. I grew up listening to classic rock but I became solely interesting in rap and hip-hop during high school. With a little help from my friends, I started listening to more genres of music, including: alternative, underground hip-hop, classic rap, and reggae. I like anything with a beat and lyrics that are meaningful but that doesn't stop me from bumpin' a little trap every once and a while.
Raised on the mean streets of Cayuga Heights, NY - I love nothing more than rolling up with my messenger bag & Indie Americana Artisinal vibes. Catch me in the cut bumping Neutral Milk Hotel, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, and of course my favorite, The Beastie Boys. HendelBarz cause I spit bars when I'm barred out, ball out on my callouts, and only play Fall Out (Boy). Word up.
Class of '18. When they're not lying around watching children's cartoons and crying into a pillow, Sheen Hui likes to think of themself as a pretty cool person. Although they can pretty much listen to and enjoy any sort of music, they're more inclined towards k-pop, alt rock and airhorn remixes of popular songs. Sheen is also a digital artist, pianist, singer and writing enthusiast and (maybe???) lyric writer. Sheen contemplates their enrollment in this school approximately 150% of the time.
Class of '18, Kai is the current president of Babson College Radio. His main musical tastes revolve around indie rock, rap, folk, funk, R&B, and punk; although he certainly ins't one to pigeonhole his tastes. When he isn't doing BCR work, Kai can be seen working at Starbucks, going to concerts, or hiding away from the world listening to NPR podcasts.
First year student from Lawrence, MA. I'm an older sibling and only daughter. I enjoy listening to a variety of music and transition quickly through different types of music. Currently I'm into alternative and soft rock. I also love listening to covers and remixes of songs.
